We’re getting pretty cutting-edge this time round – The RM2 enclosure is 3D printed in stainless steel. It has to be seen to be believed. You can cut threads into it with a tap and die, sand it and polish it. It’s real steel, just built up and micro-welded layer by layer with a laser, printed on demand. The great thing is this allows us to iterate on the design in plastic in the workshop first and then commit to metal once we’re happy with the fit and finish.
